Sam Silverman

Hello! I’m a freelance illustrator currently working in Brooklyn, NY where I was born and raised. I’ve grown a bit taller since this photo was taken, but can assure you that my enthusiasm and professionalism has always been a constant.

My work brings brands and stories to life through playful details, gentle colors, and a hand-drawn feel. I love creating illustrated maps, seek-and-find scenes, and little worlds filled with characters and details to discover. I've worked with brands, publications, and nonprofits to create illustrations that make stories and ideas feel approachable and engaging.

Clients include the LA Times, Chobani, Shopify, GrowNYC, Lush, Curbed NY, AARP, Whataburger, Gotham Greens, Idealist, Eater, and DK Books.
